Church:
As a couple who are both clueless on wedding preparations,
we thought that it would be best to search for the church first. We first visited Sanctuario De San Jose near
Greenhills, San Juan. Adrian liked this because he read somewhere that it is inside
a village with a very tight security and that there would be no “usisero” or
shall we call them “uzis”. There are a
lot of good qualities about this church and we have read a lot of good
feedbacks too. However, it was their 2013 Wedding rate that made us think
twice. We found it very expensive and too much for our budget.
So, we decided to look for another church and Adrian suggested
visiting Santa Clara De Montefalco in Pasig. We were so thrilled to see how
beautiful the church was. We had a “this is it” moment and planned to go back
to fill out their application form.
We came back and completed the application form to block
the wedding date. We are very happy to be the first couple to get that date and
had the freedom to choose from 10 am to 4pm slot.
The only
thing we are still very worried about is if we’ll pass the canonical
examination. I just hope and pray that
we will. We never dreamed of being in a
situation wherein we should look for another church months before the wedding
after all has been settled and other suppliers have been booked.
Why
we loved them?
- Tallest church in the Philippines
- Peso power – for only P10K
- Ms. Fany (contact person) is very accommodating
- Ceremony time slots: 10:00 a.m -12:00 p.m. / 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. / 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
- Parking is not a problem
- Such a windy place
- Felt like we are in a different country and imagined it was Italy. Though we haven’t been there. Haha!
CONS:
Under their Wedding
Requirements:
II. Regulations on Wedding
Celebration and Rite
7. Reservation and Cancellation
7.2. 50% or P5K is required upon confirmation
of booking ONLY after passing the canonical examination, and the full payment
is required at least one month before the wedding date or upon completion of
all the required documents.
Beautiful!
I’ve
imagined myself waiting to walk down the aisle
We
loved the interior of the church.
We
are settled and happy with this kind of simple flower setup.
hi sis
ReplyDeleteJust dropping by to say I'm so excited for you sis... I'm sure you'll definitely feel nervous sa sobrang haba ng aisle na lalakaran mo (just like what I felt) hahaha...

Thank you so much for this. I have been searching for the above-mentioned details for a long time.
ReplyDeleteCan you please help me with the breakdown of payment for the church (e.g. documentation, flower arrangement, use of aircon / lighting / choral).
Thank you so much!
Hi Reya, we don't have the breakdown of payment. It is already a package. =)
DeleteCan you please also give me the contact details of Miss Fany, preferably her email ID as I am not in the Philippines at the moment.
